We are seeking an ambitious post-doctoral scientist with strong research and communication skills to contribute to high visible research projects. Your work will contribute to the development of physiologically-based pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PBPK/PD) models for antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). In this role, you will: Contribute to the project research goals and deliverablesDevelop deep understanding of physiochemical properties, disposition, and mechanism of action of ADC components (antibody, linker and payload) and intact ADCsEstablish mechanistic, comprehensive PBPK/PD models for ADCs and identify the key data needed to parameterize a useful PBPK/PD ADC modelUse models to predict the effect of intrinsic/extrinsic factors on antibody and payload exposureIdentify areas of key need across discovery and clinical development and champion creative solutions to address those needsMaintain external awareness and learning to benefit the organizationPresent findings at conferences and publish in high quality peer-reviewed journalsWorking environment – primary mentors in small and large molecule PK/PD, collaboration with relevant functions across the organizationBasic QualificationsPhD in Pharmaceutics, Computational Sciences, Engineering, or a related fieldAdditional Skills/Preferences If you are described with these skills, you could be a great fit for the role: Self-directed and highly motivated individual who wants to learn new techniques while continually pursuing research and publication goalsExcellent communicator (oral and written) with presentation experience, along with a strong publication recordProficient in data analysis and reportingUnderstanding of pharmacokinetics and/or pharmacodynamic principlesExperience in PBPK, QSP, PK/PD, exposure-response modeling or other modeling & simulation related subject areaExperience using relevant software such as Phoenix, NONMEM, R, SimCYP, Gastroplus, Monolix, Python, MATLAB, or similarAdditional Information This position is not permanent.
