JOB SUMMARY

The Associate Director of Admissions is responsible for managing the admissions funnel from inquiries through enrollment, while strategically attracting and enrolling a diverse, vibrant, and mission-aligned student body. As a dynamic ambassador for the school, the Associate Director of Admissions engages with internal and external stakeholders to advance the school's enrollment initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Enrollment Management, the Associate Director of Admissions leads and collaborates within the Admissions and Enrollment team, driving excellence and cohesion in achieving enrollment objectives.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, Master's degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of admissions and leadership experience in an independent school or higher education preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
    • Knowledge and understanding of the admissions and enrollment cycle of an independent school
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong leadership and and interpersonal skills
    • Superior organizational and prioritization skills to independently manage competing demands in a fast-paced and high volume environment.
    • Strong project management skills to manage short, medium, and long-term projects and meeting deadlines
    • Demonstrated strategic mindset and creative problem-solving skills
    • Ability to adapt and respond to emergent needs with a positive attitude and growth mindset
    • High level of cultural humility and ability to work effectively with people with diverse backgrounds and experiences
