What you will be doing

BASIC FUNCTION: Engineering Technician will assist guests with maintenance or other requests, identifying and correcting the problem. Responsibilities also include performing various work order tasks and preventive maintenance on property equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two year degree and/or two years experience in HVAC/R/relevant hospitality experience
  • Construction knowledge and skills, such as dry wall, painting.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, relating to their field of expertise.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to read wire and schematic diagrams.
  • Ability to properly use a multimeter.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
  • Vocational or technical training preferred, relating to their expertise.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Resolves guest's problems and handles all guest requests.
  • Identifies problems, initiates work orders, accomplished assigned work orders and does all necessary repairs relating to their expertise.
  • Repair, maintain, perform preventative maintenance and maintain logs in an organized manner for all HVAC/R equipment and construction repairs
  • Complete the duty rounds checklists and corrects noted problems.
  • Responsible for correct use of office equipment, EMS system and Life Safety Systems, (training provided)
  • Performs preventative maintenance and maintains logs in an organized manner.
  • Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager.
  • Snow shoveling as necessary.
