We are looking for a Senior Specialist – Controls to join our international finance team at On, one of the fastest-growing sports brands globally. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping our internal controls framework, ensuring compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act 2002 and driving continuous improvement in our North American operations.

Your Mission

  • Lead the Governance and operation of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) for On's business and IT operations in North America and across the group as part of the Group Risk and Internal Controls (GRIC) team.
  • Participate actively in scoping internal controls' coverage across On's businesses in North America and beyond.
  • Act as a process lead for business processes, providing guidance on standard controls operations and ensuring consistency across North American businesses.
  • Utilize your expertise to enhance and optimize On's business processes, promoting efficiency in North America.
  • Manage and enhance On's internal controls methodology.
  • Offer advice on the design, operation, and remediation of controls to On's first line of defense in North America.
  • Engage in On's management testing, including business process controls and third-party controls in North America.
  • Provide guidance on controls' remediation, monitor effectiveness, and report to senior stakeholders, fostering learning and development across defense lines in North America.
  • Support On's Head of Controls in reporting internal controls' effectiveness to senior stakeholders in North America and across the group.
  • Collaborate with external service providers to establish and sustain an effective ICFR framework for On in North America and other regions.
  • Interact and collaborate with On's external auditors as needed.

Your Background

  • Hold certifications such as Chartered Accountant, CPA, ACCA, CIA, CISA, etc.
  • Have 4-6 years of auditing or consulting experience with US listed companies or Foreign Private Issuers under Sarbanes Oxley Act 2002.
  • Experience in both business process controls and IT controls preferred.
  • Familiarity with global ERP solutions; D365 F&O knowledge advantageous.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to provide customized solutions based on prior experiences.
  • Committed to accuracy, continuous improvement, and meeting deadlines.
  • Understanding stakeholder needs in a dynamic environment.
  • Apt at prioritizing tasks and delivering accordingly.
