In addition to serving as the home of the entire football operation and practice fields, The Ford Center at The Star also includes a multipurpose, 12,000 seat, indoor stadium that will provide facilities for use by the Dallas Cowboys, City of Frisco and Frisco ISD football and soccer games. The facility includes Cowboys Club: a workspace and membership club connecting work, leisure and culture for a select community of influencers, entrepreneurs, and business leaders with a passion for the Dallas Cowboys.

The Barista is based out of The Star/Cowboys Club in Frisco, TX and reports to the Beverage Manager.

Essential Job Functions

  • Follows all Company drink recipes and procedures to provide high quality and consistent beverages to guest
  • Ensures that all customers are educated on our products and services.
  • Answers customer questions regarding coffee blends, preparation, and product freshness.
  • Greets all customers with fast, friendly, personalized service
  • Accurately rings sales orders into POS system and counts back change to customers in a courteous and friendly manner
  • Develops an understanding of coffee and tea regions and the various differences in flavor and blends.
  • Sells and serves baked goods and miscellaneous food items to customers
  • Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that partners can locate resources and product as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be able to stand for an extended period of time without aid
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Menu planning and development
  • Must be able to stand or walk for varying length of time
  • Must be available to work an irregular schedule
  • Must be able to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 1 year experience in a high volume bar.
  • Must be able read, write, and speak in English.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, sit, use of hands to handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms
  • Ability to lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds;
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision

Environmental Working Conditions:

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
