About Our Client

The Legal Recruiting Manager will spearhead our legal recruiting for lateral partners and associates. They will be responsible for overseeing and managing our attorney recruitment initiatives by shaping and executing the strategic direction of lateral recruiting across various practice areas, geographies and levels. This position is located in NYC 3 days a week in the office. $150k-$225k depending on experience.

Job Description

Collaborate with Firm leadership to develop comprehensive strategies for lateral recruiting, focusing on specific practice areas, geographies, and roles within the firm.Act as the face of the firm in the marketplace including developing relationships with key recruiters, participating in recruiting associations, and managing communications with recruiters and candidates to ensure timely feedbackDefine and articulate the value proposition of firm for each need, emphasizing our direction, strategic plans, and growth opportunitiesExpand and refine lateral recruitment strategy and processes to ensure consistency of evaluation metrics including interview strategy and training attorney interviewersWork with PD, BDM, IT, and IT departments to create lateral integration programsDevelop thresholds for success for lateral partners and conduct check-insCollaborate with and lead our Associate Recruitment Committee to ensure that the Firm maintains accountability for a diverse talent pipelineDevelop and manage tracking systems to collect feedback and streamline the recruitment process

Bachelor's degree required, JD from an accredited institution idealMinimum 5 years' experience working in a law firm in the lateral recruitment spaceProven successful track record of lateral recruitment at the partner and associate levelsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsHigh attention to detail with excellent organizational and project management skillsSound judgement and ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality and discretionAbility to work independently and collaboratively on multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneouslyProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel and a willingness to learn new technical systemsResourceful, dependable, proactive, can-do attitude What's on Offer Hybrid 3 days a week in NYC$150k-$225k depending on experienceCareer growth
