Waynflete School, an independent day school serving students from diverse backgrounds from pre-school through high school, seeks an Assistant Director of Facilities to support the Director of Facilities in managing day-to-day facilities and maintenance issues; event support; project research, coordination and oversight; database management; calendar scheduling and other administrative tasks.

Hands-on carpentry work, snow removal and other manual duties are a component of this position, and experience with carpentry is preferred.

This is a full-time, year round position and requires some work outside of regular hours.

Applicants should have direct maintenance experience in a school or non-profit based setting with supervisory experience preferred. The ability to form collaborative working relationships and demonstrate strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills is critical. In addition, applicants should have strong analytic, organizational, data management and communication skills.

Candidates must be able to climb stairs, bend, stoop, kneel, lift up to at least 50 lbs and carry items repetitively while performing job duties.
