Your opportunity
The Revenue Cycle Specialist performs, supports, and maintains all aspects of the full revenue cycle including auditing, coding and payment posting.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages patient accounts for assigned geographical territories
- Audits chart notes
- Performs HCC coding
- Claims creation
- Electronic claims submission
- ERA / EOB review
- Payment posting
- Reviews and maintains aging accounts
- Appeals and claim corrections
- Answers patient phone calls regarding statements
Requirements
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to work independently and problem solve
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and respectful, professional customer service
- Acknowledge patient's rights on confidentiality issues and follow HIPAA guidelines and regulations
