Your opportunity

The Revenue Cycle Specialist performs, supports, and maintains all aspects of the full revenue cycle including auditing, coding and payment posting.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages patient accounts for assigned geographical territories
  • Audits chart notes
  • Performs HCC coding
  • Claims creation
  • Electronic claims submission
  • ERA / EOB review
  • Payment posting
  • Reviews and maintains aging accounts
  • Appeals and claim corrections
  • Answers patient phone calls regarding statements

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Ability to work independently and problem solve
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and respectful, professional customer service
  • Acknowledge patient's rights on confidentiality issues and follow HIPAA guidelines and regulations
