Mission

We're looking for an established enterprise sales professional to join the Smartcat team who is responsible for building relationships, driving revenue, and closing business within the company's strategic clients. This role requires a high-energy, very organized person with advanced communication skills. Your mission is to identify, source, and close expansion opportunities within your designated portfolio of Strategic Accounts, while also partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve team goals. Success is measured by your contribution to Smartcat's fastest revenue growth rate of 200–400% yearly.

Your outcomes

  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly ARR quota for expansion revenue converting new opportunities within strategic accounts that bring the company the most revenue
  • Responsible for taking ownership of the sales cycle, from mapping accounts, prospecting, qualifying leads to closing
  • Work closely with Strategic Customer Success Managers to map out your portfolio of Strategic Accounts and ensure exceptional service levels for all stakeholders and healthy consumption
  • Leverage relationships within your portfolio of accounts to expand revenue by acquiring new users, new departments, and new use cases
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly KPIs for prospecting and number of activities (including cold calling, email, and attending in-person events, and meetings

Requirements

  • 6+ years of enterprise sales experience within the translation industry (preferred) or 6+ years of experience in SaaS sales
  • Strong track record of actively prospecting for new business opportunities and expanding revenue within existing accounts
  • Solid sales fundamentals, business & sales acumen, and Sandler sales training is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills to navigate colleague, customer, and partner interactions
