Java Full Stack Engineer (On site)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define design and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality organization and automatization.
• Design and implement scalable secure and robust solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends relevant to our business.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and shared knowledge.
• Work closely with team members to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.
• Engage in problem-solving activities to ensure solutions meet business needs.

Qualifications:

• 6-8 years of experience to join our dynamic team.
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with expertise in Java 11 and Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software engineering principles.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML CSS and JavaScript is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with database technologies both SQL and NoSQL.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good to have experience in Asset & Wealth Management domain.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication and social skills.

Salary and compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $95K – $125K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
