U.S. Energy Development Corporation is seeking a highly energetic, motivated, and tech-forward individual to join our team as a Marketing Associate. In this role, you will support the Vice President of Marketing in executing marketing activities for our dynamic and fast-paced direct energy investment team.

 

Responsibilities

Email Marketing & Campaign Execution:

  • Collaborate with sales and other internal teams to fully understand products and communication needs and develop effective messaging.
  • Draft and propose communications campaigns, which may include social media and online media, print media, direct mail, and other multimedia.
  • Develop and distribute materials related to sales and marketing.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to existing programs and suggest additional marketing strategies and opportunities.
  • Assist in the development and execution of email marketing campaigns, including newsletters and drip campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on email marketing performance (open rates, click-through rates, and conversions).


Digital Marketing:

  • Master the marketing technology stack including Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Real-Time Journeys.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining the organization’s website to ensure its efficiency and efficacy.
  • Stay up to date with online marketing trends, web analytics, and SEO techniques to optimize digital marketing efforts.


Content Creation:

  • Work with graphic design lead to create content, including logos, brochures, flyers, and other graphic materials, to support various marketing and communication needs.
  • Assist in developing content for the corporate LinkedIn page, ensuring regular updates, engaging content, and alignment with the company's branding and communication strategies.


Event Coordination & Promotion:

  • Schedule and host webcasts, ensuring all necessary logistics and technical support are in place.
  • Develop and manage the creation and ordering of promotional products to support marketing campaigns and company events.


Collaboration & Project Management:

  • Ensure projects are completed on time, coordinating communication among departments such as IT, sales, and research to achieve goals.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Marketing on marketing initiatives and company-wide communications.


Candidate Requirements:

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills. Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  • Ability to self-manage workload volumes to achieve or exceed goals and changing priorities in a team environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Strong results-oriented focus, strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Demonstrate initiative, creativity, and resourcefulness


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree – preferably in Marketing
  • Two to five years’ experience in similar role
  • Technical requirements include:

Microsoft Office Suite, strong focus on PowerPoint

Canva Pro

Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)

Event and Webinar Management Software (Go To Webinar, Go To Meeting, Zoom, Microsoft Teams)

CRM (Microsoft Dynamics added bonus, Salesforce, etc.)

Marketing Automation Software (HubSpot, Dynamics, Marketo, etc.)

  • Experience in banking, investments, or finance industry preferred
