Responsibilities

  • Work with raw materials in creation / formulation of ink.
  • Maintain a clean work environment.
  • Analyze & manage technical aspects of ink orders.
  • Apply advanced mathematical concepts to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, color matching, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
  • Work with and interpret nonverbal symbolism such as formulae, scientific equations, and graphs.
  • Manage workload to department goals.
  • Deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables and conduct studies using the scientific method.
  • Work interdependently with other departments and team members.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to usual inquiries from customers
  • Support the company safety programs including but not limited to AIB / OSHA / and SHARP program requirements as directed.
  • Adhere to all safety codes and standards.


Required

  • AS or BS in Chemistry preferred
  • Some previous lab experience, either via work or in a school setting.
  • Able to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with quick turn-around times
  • SAP and Data Entry
