Job Description:

  • The ideal candidate has a Medical Technologist background. General responsibilities include performing various clinical laboratory tests, conducting system level characterization, verification/validation testing and software workflow testing in both Hematology and Urinalysis disciplines.
  • The candidate will obtain data following established standards, practices and procedures while exercising independent/correlated analytical judgment and maintenance of laboratory records including quality control.


Experience is required in the following areas:

  • General laboratory workflow.
  • Hematology experience with CBC, 5 Part Differential, flagging, and review of results.
  • Execution and review of decision rules with reflex and rerun test orders.
  • Knowledge of basic laboratory statistics.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Proven technical writing and presentation skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.


Additional Job Details:

  • The ideal candidate has a Medical Technologist background.
  • Certified Medical Technologist (ASCP/AMT preferred).
