We are seeking a Sales Director to join our Business Development Team reporting to the Managing Director of Business Development. The Sales Director role will be responsible for sales outreach, and engaging leads in a friendly and professional manner as a public-facing representative of the company.

This position requires leadership capabilities, critical thinking, analytical skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of the industry. Our US & International client base includes professional traders, broker dealers, hedge funds, clearing firms, and sell side and buy-side firms trading US equities and Options.


Responsibilities:

Utilizing existing contacts and build a network with traders, broker dealers, hedge funds, clearing firms, and buy-side trading institutions trading both US and international equities, options and futures.

· Identify and define potential qualified leads to sell Sterling’s Risk and Margin product

· Weekly status reporting including insight and feedback from sales meetings

· Analyze and interpret client’s business and technical requirements

· Collaborate with Marketing & Client Services as needed

Desired Qualifications:

· BA/BS or equivalent educational background.

· REQUIRED - Professional experience in the FinTech industry selling either Trading OMS, Risk & Margin or Trading platform solutions

· Must have a “hunter” mentality that includes extensive cold outreach and lead generation skills.

· Strong multitasking skills

· Ability to maintain the CRM with consistent and real time sales updates

· Proven track record of success

· Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills.

· Thrives in high-pressure situations that arise in the trading world in a professional manner

· Strong time management and prioritization skills eager to take on new responsibilities
