Account Executive, Fashion Accessories/Cold Weather

We are a multi-division New York-based designer, manufacturer and wholesaler of fashion accessory watches, jewelry, bags, footwear, and more for major retailers. We have multiple private label brands as well as partnerships with licensed brands including Kendall & Kylie, Mossimo, XOXO, Jones New York, Marc Ecko, Ed Hardy, Aerosoles, as well as a market-leading tech/wearables category with iTOUCH Wearables.

Position Summary:
We are looking for an Account Executive to join our Fashion Accessories & Cold Weather Division. This is a unique opportunity to bring your distinctive touch to a dynamic team, that is already part of a well-established company. You will partner with design and merchandising, as well as collaborate cross-functionally with multiple departments across the company. This is a full-time, on-site position based at our headquarters in the garment district of New York City and reports directly to the President, Fashion Accessories & Cold Weather.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Expand sales through retail channels
- Manage existing retail clients and acquire new accounts through contacts, research, and other strategic methods of acquisition
- Collaborate with brand licensors and leverage brand marketing with other licensees
- Develop and present compelling presentations to retail clients
- Track sell-through of product at retailers, manage replenishment to maximize sales
- Research and analyze target customers and key retail customers for use in presentations
- Coordinate with production department on samples, production times and product approvals from retailer
- Communicate with shipping department on delivery dates and any potential discrepancies/issues to ensure deadlines are met
- Partner with the Design to help develop seasonal product assortments that meet the needs of key accounts.
- Analyze customer feedback and market trends to guide product selection and improve overall merchandising strategies.
- Ensure that the product assortment is cohesive, customer-centric, and aligned with sales goals.
- Present merchandising ideas and strategies that align with client needs and business objectives.
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum of three years’ experience in similar role working with fashion accessories
- Strong collaboration and experience working with cross functional teams
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain composure and provide exceptional customer service through demanding situations
- Strong attention to detail and organization with a high work ethic
- Entrepreneurial nature and self-motivated
- Thrives in fast-paced environment
- Four-year college degree or equivalent experience
Compensation & Benefits:
