Overview


We seek a detail-oriented HVAC/Clean Room Project Manager to lead the successful execution of advanced mechanical construction projects in San Jose, CA. This role is pivotal in driving the delivery of cutting-edge HVAC and clean room solutions that meet stringent industry and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities


  • Manage HVAC and clean room projects from initiation to completion, ensuring strict adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
  • Coordinate designing, installing, and commissioning sophisticated HVAC systems, clean rooms, and building automation systems like Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls Metasys, and Bacnet.
  • Act as the primary liaison among clients, contractors, and cross-functional teams, fostering clear communication and alignment on project objectives.
  • Develop and oversee project schedules, budgets, and detailed documentation using MS Project, Bluebeam, and Autodesk software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks).
  • Ensure all projects comply with clean room certification standards, HVAC protocols, and relevant regulatory requirements.


Qualifications


  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
  • A minimum of 5 years in HVAC project management, with specific experience managing clean room projects, is highly desirable.
  • Expertise with tools like Trimble AutoBid, Revit, Navisworks, and MS Project is required. A strong understanding of building automation systems is also required.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver under tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the San Jose area, with a stable work history in the mechanical construction sector.
