We are adding to our team at Mimi's Bridal at Town & Country for a stylist position. We are looking for someone who has a passion for fashion, enjoys celebrating others, and inspiring the team alongside you.

This position provides one-on-one customer service in celebrating each individual's special life moment. You will work along side a team that empowers among all of the pretties things. A love for fashion & learning is a must.


Stylist Duties:

To include but not be limited to the following. As a stylist you will have multiple duties in the store that exceed just working with customers.


Key Responsibilities:

- Ability to work individually in all appointment types creating an amazing experience for our customers.

- Ability to apply your training to ensure the best customer experience.

- Ability to succeed in your sales at a minimum 60% close ratio on average.

-Knowledge of all inventory in the store.

-Developing knowledge of bridal fashion styles, trends, designers, fit/alterations.

-Taking accurate measurements of customers.

-Using our POS system & processing accurate sales for each customer.

-Keeping up to date and accurate information on all customer interactions.

-Following up with each customer after purchase and following through with excellent communication through the entire process.

-Answering the phone, working in our POS system to book appointments, answer questions, etc.

-Working behind the scenes in our stock room helping getting new inventory out on the floor & steamed.

We are looking for a part time stylist with some weekday availability - weekends are required.


Hours & Pay:

Hours of operation -

Tues & Thurs 11:00-7:00

Wed & Fri 10:00-5:00

Must have weekend availability.

Saturday 8:45-5:30

Sunday 12:00-5:00 (by appointment only - rotating schedule)


Base pay: $12-15 per hour based on retail experience

Sales bonuses

Tip pool

Schedule black out dates from early Jan through April.

Averaging $18-60 an hour based on sales.


Skills needed:

-Experienced in sales required.

-Excellent customer service skills.

-Excellent communications skills.

-Outgoing personality

-Professional attitude and a well groomed appearance.

-Excellent work ethic-team player, punctual, self-motivated, and dependable.

-Detail oriented

-Excellent interpersonal skills. Friendly, polite, and a positive attitude is essential.

-Ability to make customers feel at home

-Ability to work independently and as a part of a sales team.

-Ability to be trained and be able to retain the information then to be able to implement the trainings learned.

-Ability to learn new things and break old habits.

-Must be able to work weekends -Saturdays between 8:45-5:30. Rotating Sundays by appointment only 12:00-5:00.



Job Type: Part-time


Pay: $18.00 - $60.00 per hour


Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
