We are working with an established international Am Law firm headquartered in Chicago that has an immediate need for an intellectual property litigation/prosecution lawyer (2+ yrs) to join its innovative practice as an associate. This thriving practice has an international reach and represents clients in patent, trademark, copyright and technology matters. This is a unique opportunity to truly be an all-around IP attorney, handling patent and trademark prosecution matters, as well as IP litigation ranging from patent infringement cases in federal court to trademark challenges in the TTAB.

Responsibilities:
· Represent clients in patent, trademark and copyright matters
· Assist in representing clients in IP litigation and prosecution matters
· Assist in representing clients in courts nationwide, as well as before federal agencies including the USPTO and the U.S. International Trade Commission
Required Qualifications:
· 2 or more years of IP litigation and prosecution experience, particularly with trademark and patent matters
· Experience drafting patent applications
· A degree in electrical engineering
· Must be admitted to the USPTO or be in the process of becoming admitted
