Job Summary: 

Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll. Key duties include maintaining payroll and benefit records and handling employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits. Additionally, this role includes supporting the Company’s hiring efforts through daily interviews.


Major Duties and Responsibilities: 

  1. Answering employee’s HR related questions
  2. Creating and distributing documents
  3. Maintaining computer system by updating and entering data
  4. Manage payroll processing
  5. Maintain accurate payroll and benefit records for employees
  6. Input and respond to withholding orders
  7. Respond to wage and employment verifications
  8. Ensure accurate timesheet records
  9. Execute benefit enrollment, changes, and terminations
  10. Manage the PayActiv benefit
  11. Monitor staff attendance and administer corrective action
  12. Respond to Unemployment Insurance claims
  13. Assist in recruiting efforts
  14. Provides general support to the HR Manager

Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):

  1. Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and move supplies up to 25 pounds 
  2. Constant use of hands/arms throughout the work shift
  3. Sitting at a desk constantly

Work Conditions:

  1. The work will be performed in an indoor office environment 
  2. Equipment used: computer, phone, calculator, copier

Requirements: 

  1. High School Diploma or GED 
  2. Must be at least 18 years of age
  3. Previous human resource experience preferred
  4. Must have strong interpersonal skills
  5. Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities to use time efficiently
  6. Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work quality
  7. Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through feedback
  8. Ability to communicate and work well with customers and employees, utilizing good judgment and showing respect for others
