Pride Health is hiring Travel Mammography Technologist to support our client's hospital facility in Albany, OR. This is a 13-weeks travel contract role with possible extension opportunity.
Job Summary:
Works under the supervision, performing all radiographic and mammographic studies. Produces radiographs and organizes images, completes the required paperwork and charges.
Responsibilities
• Performs radiologic and mammography examinations in accordance to established protocols.
• Responsible for inspecting and cleaning equipment prior to use.
• Responsible for keeping exam rooms neat and orderly.
• Reports equipment failures and/or malfunctions to supervisor or director.
• Reports all patient complaints, discrepancies to the Supervisor.
• Responsible for processing images, completing and organizing paperwork.
• Performs required QC as appropriate.
• Adjusts mammography controls as needed prior to schedule start.
• Produces high quality mammography images on all patients including wheelchair and implant patients.
Required Education/Licensure/Certification:
• High school. Graduate of an AMA approved mammography course.
• Current unencumbered Oregon license in Radiologic Technology required.
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
Schedule options: Position will be rotating 10 hour work day shifts on weekdays (40 hrs/week)
Location: Albany, OR
Pay range: $2,882.00 weekly package Negotiable for the right skill set.
