Pride Health is hiring a Float Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Austin, Texas. This contract-to-hire opportunity is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization
Responsibilities:
- Rooms patients according to policy and procedures and prepares patients for examination.
- Records patient care documentation in the medical record accurately and promptly.
- Organizes exam and treatment rooms, stocks and cleans rooms, and sterilizes instruments.
- Telephone and in-person screening is limited to the intake and gathering of information without requiring the exercise of judgment based on clinical knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant certification or registration.
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
- Must have a Driver`s License.
Additional Information:
- Location: Austin, Texas
- Float up to 80 miles outside of Austin.
- Job Type: contract to hire.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday – 07:45 am to 05:00 pm
- Pay Range: $ 17.00 to 23.00/hour.
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
