JOB TITLE: Creative Project Manager
REPORTS TO: Creative Director
DEPARTMENT: Marketing
OVERVIEW
The Creative Project Manager is responsible for managing the timely process of key creative programs from initiation to completion — with primary focus on packaging artwork, visual merchandising and retail marketing programs. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional project management and communication skills to drive efficiency and increase productivity and clarity across the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage key Creative deliverables within the Product Marketing and Retailer verticals.
- Manage timelines, deliverables and timely approvals for packaging artwork in partnership with our creative agency partners and key cross-functional team members within Monday.com.
- Oversee Product Marketing timelines for product kick-off documentation; ensuring timely completion of briefs, distribution of new product information, along with scheduling cross-functional discussions as needed.
- Manage timelines for visual merchandising and major artwork deliverable dates for all global retail partners.
- Lead routing and tracking of internal assets for all retailer marketing programs — including visual merchandising, in-store exposures, PDPs, paid ads, etc.
- Ensure all cross-functional team members and outside vendors are on track with deliverables, clearly communicating risks, finding opportunities and defining specific action plans/contingencies to meet deadlines when obstacles occur.
- Create and manage a master project tracker for packaging artwork and retailer programs to ensure timely completion of key milestones while communicating updates to the team.
- Create and maintain master templates for all key project types, to ensure consistency and thoroughness.
- Create and maintain SOP’s within the scope of project management responsibility.
- Develop tools, forms, trackers as necessary to facilitate and improve the project management function.
- Other projects as required/assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of Project Management experience in CPG, Beauty, or equivalent industry
- BA/BS in Project Management, Business Administration, or equivalent
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (desired)
- Exceptional project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and tasks with precision and detail
- A thorough understanding of creative workflows, creative timelines, and a demonstrated record of prioritizing and managing creative output
- Demonstrable experience working with and leading cross-functional teams
- Solid problem-solving skills, analytical skills and business acumen
- Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Flexible personality to take on new challenges as they come and to switch gears immediately when necessary
- Strong working knowledge of MS Suite products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management platforms
- Must be based in Los Angeles, CA and willing to be in-office two days per week
