Role Overview:


We're seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join our Client's team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in leading the electrical engineering aspects of our large-scale renewable energy projects, ensuring their successful execution from concept to completion. You will provide technical expertise, manage project teams, and drive innovation in the design and implementation of renewable energy solutions.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and ensuring timely project delivery.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive electrical engineering plans for large-scale renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, or biogas. (AD/Biogas experience a plus)
  • Oversee all aspects of electrical engineering design, including power systems analysis, equipment selection, protection coordination, and electrical schematics.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant electrical codes, standards, and industry best practices.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.
  • Collaborate effectively with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and trends in renewable energy technologies.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative electrical engineering solutions to optimize project performance.



Qualifications and Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 7+ years of electrical engineering experience, with a proven track record of leading and executing large, complex projects.
  • Experience in the AD/Biogas industry (this is a plus)
  • Strong understanding of electrical power systems analysis, design principles, and equipment selection for renewable energy applications.
  • Experience with relevant electrical engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP).
  • Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) (preferred).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to finding solutions.
  • Deadline-driven with a focus on delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
  • A valid PE license in the state of Tennessee (this is a plus, not mandatory).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
