We’re looking to hire a Graphic Designer for a beauty product company. As a graphic design contractor, you will help implement the client’s brand and aesthetic primarily in digital media, with a focus on web and user interface (UI) design. You will create design assets such as system components, web banners, web pages, standalone graphics and illustrations, wireframes, presentations, and more. This role requires a conceptual thinker who can manage multiple projects simultaneously while collaborating effectively with the team.
This is a project opportunity through December 2025. The role is located in the Dallas metro area and is a hybrid role: Monday through Thursday, working from the office, and Friday, working remotely.
Graphic Designer Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members (strategy, UX, content, IT/Dev, etc.) to develop conceptual designs for new and existing digital platforms, particularly eCommerce websites.
- Assist the Digital Experience team with visual and competitive research for various projects.
- Partner with copywriters, UX designers, and IT partners to produce final designs and products.
- Create digital media designs, iconography, and presentation materials (PPT), with potential opportunities for social and print designs.
- Conduct research, create mood boards and design concept options, and design presentation documents, web layouts, logos/icons, and illustrations.
- Support the DX Senior Graphic Art Director with design tasks.
- Ensure all designs align with and meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standards.
Graphic Designer Requirements:
- 4-5 years of web-based graphic design experience with a portfolio/samples to share.
- Strong collaboration experience with UX Designers and/or Developers preferred.
- Advanced skills in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent design aesthetics, attention to detail, resourcefulness, and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects independently.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Experience with Salesforce platforms (Commerce/Experience/Marketing Clouds) is a plus.
- Experience in establishing and expanding internal Design Systems is a plus (primarily using Salesforce Lightening and Google Material 3).
- Familiarity with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) is preferred.
