Consumer Support Specialist

We have an immediate opening for a Consumer Support Specialist
Hours: 8am-5pm or 10:30am-7pm
Pay: $19.50/hour
Job Duties/Description:
- Provide technical support and assistance to consumers on hearing instruments and connectivity products.
- Manage approximately 20 calls per day; must be comfortable with spending significant time on the phone.
- Connect consumers with authorized hearing care providers.
- Offer solutions, support, and assistance to consumer requests, inquiries, problems, and complaints in a professional manner.
- Maintain call logs and detailed reports in multiple systems.
- Handle consumer calls and emails in a manner that fosters a positive experience.
- Record notes for each consumer interaction into contact management software.
- Identify and communicate potential trends, problems, and suggestions for improvement to the Supervisor.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks/projects as directed by the Supervisor.
Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
- Must possess strong technical skills and be tech-savvy.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Preferably 1-2 years of customer service experience.
- Experience with Bluetooth and mobile devices is preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate patience when working with users who may be new to technology.
- Genuine interest and desire to help people.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
- Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
