We understand that the foundation of our success is deeply rooted in the quality of our products, which is why we are seeking an experienced Director of Quality Assurance to join our team.
Job Description:
As the Director of Quality Assurance, you will play a crucial role in steering Atmospheric G2’s strategic efforts to uphold the highest standards of product quality and reliability across all our product lines. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, this position calls for a proactive leader who can effectively create and manage comprehensive quality assurance programs while also participating directly in day-to-day testing activities. Your mission will be to enhance our quality processes and lead a team committed to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine the test strategy and maintain comprehensive test plans for the entire Atmospheric G2 product line, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and company objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of QA analysts and testers; serve as a player/coach by directly contributing to testing efforts and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Establish and oversee the implementation of quality management systems and standards across all product development phases to minimize variability and defects.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and deploying effective solutions to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with product development teams to integrate quality assurance processes throughout the product lifecycle, from design to deployment.
- Monitor and report on quality metrics, preparing detailed reports for executive review and strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience in Quality Assurance, including hands-on testing and team management.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across departmental lines.
