Daily responsibilities will include designing the electrical systems of Data Centers, and utilizing Revit to create and maintain BIM models. You must be able to work independently and work within a team environment to accomplish assigned tasks. This includes working with internal groups as well as external suppliers and consultants, manufacturers, vendors, and contractors


Must Haves:

  • 5+ years of design/engineering experience of electrical building systems
  • 4+ years’ experience using Revit and/or Autodesk for producing Electrical engineering BIM models and Design drawings.
  • Practical knowledge and understanding of electrical codes (NEC).Solid understanding of MEP systems and their configuration (ideally within data centers)
  • Experience in developing single-line diagrams (SLD) and layout drawings, and understanding the relationship between both
  • Experience in the establishment and management of BIM models including orientation, geo-positioning, coordination and general setup of BIM project models, including exporting of embedded data and schedules from BIM models
  • Teamwork mentality, organized, and great communication
  • Solid understanding of BIM models’ and drawings’ quality standards and Autodesk® Revit® family’s creation and editing

Plusses:

  • 6+ years’ strong Revit®/ AutoCAD® experience in the area of preparing and developing detailed Revit® models and documentation (drawings) of MEP system
  • 4+ years' experience of designing/modelling/drawing MEP deliverables Data Centers or other large facilities (Pharmaceutical, Fabrication Plants, Hospitals, etc.)
  • Experience working with IFC, Dynamo and/or Python™
