ROLE OVERVIEW

As the Studio Manager, you will work alongside the chief creative officers and managing director in every aspect of the studio’s logistics. You will support leadership, the Project Managers, and the Production Team as needed. We are looking for a self-starter with strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role will involve collaboration with team members in London and Los Angeles.


The Studio Manager role is a full-time position based in NYC. Your primary work location will be on-site in our Manhattan office with some flexibility to work remotely. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO


Office Management

  • Manage overall Studio Calendar and assist Chief Creative Officers and Managing Directors with their own calendars
  • Schedule and prepare team meetings, providing administrative support pre and post-meeting
  • Manage and general upkeep of New York, Los Angeles, and London offices
  • Oversee office renovations, general coordination, and ordering furniture as needed
  • Organize and book travel for key team members
  • Oversee contact management system

 

Creative Team Support

  • Collaborate with Project and Account Managers in Creative staffing and Creative Team’s priorities
  • Support the creative team in day-to-day tasks, including deck creation and:
  • Conceptual + practical research and tracking ideas in organized documents
  • Assist in document formatting and ensuring that all files are held up to our design standards
  • Assist in the proper archiving of creative documents
  • Assist in stock footage licensing management
  • Assist in Client meeting note-taking
  • Prepare Agency decks for New Business and Proposal presentations

 

Production Team Support

  • Support the production team in necessary tasks, including:
  • Create and manage options sheets
  • Production related research
  • Arrange messengers and pick up packages
  • Facilitate communication between agency and production companies
  • Provide on-set support as needed

 

HR & Financial Support

  • Onboard freelancers and new team members
  • Track team’s PTO
  • Recruit and lead Look’s internship program
  • Process invoices with the accounting team
  • Assist in bill and credit card payments

 

IT Management

  • Liaison with IT contact, manage subscriptions to software
  • Proactively finds tech solutions to improve workflow 
  • Assist team with hardware needs

 

 REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Time management and high-level organization skills
  • Excellent communicator—in person, over the phone, via email, etc.
  • Attention to detail
  • Tech-savvy
  • Knowledge of Keynote, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite

 

BONUS SKILLS

  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite
  • Knowledge of Figma
  • Interest or experience in production, art direction, design, account/project management or any part of the creative process
