Title: IT Support Technician

Location: Hess Tower, 1501 McKinney St, Houston, TX

Employment Type: Onsite, Full-Time (5 days a week)

Job description:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent job experience (advanced degree is a plus).
  • 10+ years of experience in a similar VIP/executive IT support role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all management levels.
  • Highly organized with a keen ability to resolve issues independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and consistently.
  • Flexible schedule, with willingness to work longer hours and be on-call when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional, timely user support for Senior Executives and other corporate users.
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software issues across desktops, laptops, printers, proprietary software, and mobile devices (e.g., iPhones, Bloomberg, Reuters).
  • Deliver white-glove customer support to the executive floor, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
  • Set up and maintain conference room technologies, including video conferencing and high-profile meetings (e.g., Board and Quarterly Earnings).
  • Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues, coordinating with internal and external IT teams.
  • Develop training materials and deliver customer training sessions as required.
  • Proactively identify common issues, implement solutions, and suggest service improvement ideas.
  • Maintain trust and reliability with end-users through consistent follow-ups and resolution.
  • Procure and manage IT equipment and inventory for Executive Staff at Hess Tower.
