The Role:

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Head of Azure Cloud to lead our client's Azure Cloud practice in New York. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and implementing our Azure Cloud strategy, managing project delivery, and ensuring the successful deployment of Azure-based solutions for clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the strategic plan for the Azure Cloud practice, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and recommending Azure Cloud solutions to achieve business objectives.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Azure Cloud team, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of Azure Cloud projects, ensuring timely, budget-compliant, and quality delivery.
  • Maintain deep technical knowledge of Azure Cloud technologies and stay current with industry trends and best practices.
  • Assist the sales team in identifying new business opportunities, preparing proposals, and presenting to potential clients.
  • Build and sustain strong partnerships with Azure Cloud providers, ensuring access to the latest tools, resources, and support.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to Azure Cloud projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and security standards.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud computing, with at least 3 years focused on Azure Cloud.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and delivering complex Azure Cloud projects for enterprise clients.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or equivalent.
