We are currently seeking Hydrometallurgical Operations Director to oversee our hydrometallurgical facility, ensuring efficient and sustainable operations. This role is critical in managing the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the plant. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in hydrometallurgical processes and extensive management experience, combined with a strong commitment to environmental and safety standards.

Focus:
• Lead all aspects of the specific operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and staff management.
• Develop strategic plans to increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall plant efficiency.
• Ensure full regulatory compliance with all environmental, health, and safety standards.
• Lead, develop, and motivate a large team of engineers, technicians, and operational staff to achieve excellence in plant operations.
• Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to align plant operations with the broader corporate objectives.
• Manage and control plant budgets and financial plans.
• Foster innovation and continuous improvement by implementing advanced technologies and process optimizations.
• Regularly report on plant performance metrics, challenges, and progress to the executive team and stakeholders.
• Champion sustainability and eco-friendly practices within plant operations.
Skill Set:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in a director-level role overseeing hydrometallurgical plant operations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a large team.
• Exceptional problem-solving, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools.
