Key Responsibilities:


  • Note; Looking for local candidate to NC.
  • We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead GAI Developer to join our innovative team.
  • The ideal person will have a strong background in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and software development with focus on leading the development of cutting-edge Generative AI (GAI) solutions, focusing on innovative applications and implementations.
  • This role requires a deep understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Large Language Models (LLMs), and cloud-based AI services.


Key Requirements and Technology Experience:


  • Skills-GAI (Generative AI), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), JINJA, AWS.
  • Design, implement, and maintain high performance RAG systems and LLM orchestration tailored to business needs.
  • In-depth knowledge of LLMs, including transformer-based architectures and fine-tuning techniques.
  • Work extensively with LLMs, including Claude / GPT, to develop and optimize AI applications knowing the strengths and limitations of various models.
  • Research and evaluate LLM’s and versions to against business needs and take them through the existing approval processes and build documentation.
  • Experience in LLM orchestration tools such as Haystack and LangChain to streamline development processes and enhance model performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement AI strategies and solutions.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in LLM technologies and integrate them into ongoing projects as needed with proper approval process.
  • Hands on experience in Python and experience with cloud computing platforms (Preferably AWS) and utilize services line Bedrock to consume LLM’s.
  • Ability to use Lambda’s and other AWS services with deployment/pipelining (devops) tools experience.
  • Ability to demo the power for Generative AI to all types of audience, including higher leadership, business owners etc.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative development environment.
  • Good grip on responsible AI practices and priority on implementing those in the development of the GAI tools.
  • Experience with designing prompt engineering techniques and templates (JinJa).
  • Experience in vector databases, search engines and similarity search algorithms.
  • Develop and maintain best practices for GAI development, testing, and deployment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a lead developer or similar role in AI development projects.
  • Extensive experience with RAG implementations and optimizing AI model performance.
  • Deep knowledge of LLMs, particularly Claude, and their practical applications.
  • Strong proficiency with AWS services, especially Bedrock, for deploying AI solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration tools like Haystack and LangChain.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
