Responsibilities

  • Litigation Specialists are fully trained in the process of pre litigation intake, data entry, investigation and administrative tasks
  • Manage personal injury cases from pre-litigation to litigation status
  • Manage, maintain, and create professional relationships with diverse caseloads
  • Maintain open communication with clients regarding their insurance status, medical treatment, and ongoing case status
  • Manage coordination with clients’ medical providers to ensure timely insurance processing of bills, coordination of clients’ treatment, obtain medical records, negotiate provider bills
  • Perform administrative duties: scheduling client for office visits, relevant doctor’s appointments, and insurance carrier appointments (IMEs, EUOs, Recorded Statements, etc); organize both physical and digital files
  • Report claims with insurance carriers, and send pre-litigation correspondence to all parties
  • Assist attorneys in pre litigation case investigation


Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish (fluency in Spanish preferable)
  • Superior time management and capability to multitask several time critical projects under tight deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Team oriented and independently capable
  • A strong desire to expand knowledge of practice in personal injury law


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) or Certification/Associates Degree or 3 years of relevant experience
  • At least 1 year experience in use of Case Management Software (Clio, FileVine, Needles, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Etc.) and PDF conversion software
  • Proficiency in use of court electronic filing systems (NJ e-Courts, Forthright, etc.)
