About the Role: Hybrid Role - Business Analyst


Job Title: Business Analyst


Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst responsible for application domain analysis of the projects under the control or influenced by the Commerce, Enterprise and Engineering Group. Helps to coordinate tasks for developers by updating tickets as to status, advice, testing progress, and urgency. Assist in training and meet with business experts to analyze requirements for support and development of upgrades, new releases, and rollout of programs or systems. Helps in identifying and documenting system enhancements to control costs, increase revenue, time savings, or standardization of policies as well as define test criteria, preparation and compilation of test cases, analysis of results, and validation of Systems in support of project and company objectives. Responsible for maintaining deadlines, communicating with leadership and vendors, as well as delivery of projects on time and on budget.


Responsibilities

  • Works with business experts to gather requirements for projects under analysis.
  • Keeps stakeholders, business partners, vendors, management, and team updated on project status with regular and frequent communications.
  • Creates User Stories to drive the Kanban board for project development work
  • Define tasks with team, Brand Owners, and Product Owners that are needed for both Ocean Medallion application implementations and update as needed
  • Track dates and work for assigned projects
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and other Business Analysts on integration points and overall scheduling
  • Participates in team meetings and stand up meetings as needed to convey project requirements and plans to the team
  • Facilitates knowledge transfer to development and support team members


Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS or BA degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science or related work experience.
  • 3+ years of business analysis and/or project management experience.
  • 1+ years of business analysis and/or project management experience in a software development environment.
  • Excellent documentation and knowledge transfer skills
  • Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities


Location: Fort Lauderdale, California (3Days On Site)


Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $75000/year - $85000/year USD. Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
