Loyal Source was recently awarded an exciting opportunity by the VA to provide Medical Disability Examinations to Veterans throughout the country. In just a short time, we’ve launched Loyal Healthcare with 20+ cutting-edge facilities in 11 states across the Western U.S. including Alaska & Hawaii. As we continue our aggressive growth, we are actively seeking a variety of healthcare positions to serve Veterans in select states, with anticipated expansion nationwide.

Required Qualifications:

Education – Ph.D./Psy.D. from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program.

Licensure –Must hold an active, current, and unrestricted Psychologist license.

Position: Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Location: Hybrid. The majority of time will be telehealth from home and on occasion seeing a Veteran in person at our clinic in Fresno.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Remuneration: This position supports a Service Contract Ace (SCA) where the hourly wage is determined by the Department of Labor (DOL). The hourly wage for this position is $57.04 and is eligible for health and welfare (H&W) fringe benefit of an additional $4.23 an hour. $61.27/hour =$127,441 a year

Summary

The psychologist performs Medical Disability Examinations (MDE) for veterans when they file disability claims mental health conditions (e.g. PTSD, Depression, Anxiety) through the

Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) as part of the Compensation and Pension Program. Comprehensive mental health exams will require a mental health assessment and medical opinions remotely but no treatment. Opportunities to help America’s veterans are available within Loyal Source Clinics throughout the western United States.

Responsibilities


  • Perform comprehensive mental health examinations (MDE) including PTSD, Depression, MST (military sexual trauma), anxiety, eating disorders in a remote setting
  • Perform medical opinion writing as the subject matter expert for mental health claims
  • Maintain patient confidentiality complying with HIPAA and VA rules and procedures
  • C&P mental health examinations are one-time, no treatment examinations
