Our client is a global essential product distributor who thrives on world-class talent, strong leadership, and cutting-edge technology. As a IT Asset Management Specialist, you will assist in managing the technical assets for the company. This role involves supporting Senior Asset Management team members in managing the inventory for local and neighboring company offices. This is a contract position and requires onsite in Shelbyville, TN


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the team with processing requests for purchasing, deploying, and recycling cell phones, tablets, chargers, and other technology accessories.
  • Follow scripts to clear personal data from devices to prepare them for redeployment or disposal.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of inventory of procured assets.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail on every service request.
  • Support reporting on the lifecycle management of hardware assets.
  • Fulfill orders and maintain local inventory.
  • Track the lifecycle of district technology assets purchased through the Technology Modernization Project.
  • Maintain records and databases containing information regarding warranties and service agreements for the organization’s hardware.


Key Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of professional experience in IT asset management.
  • Organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of IT asset lifecycle management.


Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with ServiceNow is a plus.
  • Experience with Excel is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management and asset tracking systems.
