What you will do

We are seeking a Packaging Experience Lead to join our Research & Development team at Kenvue. This role will work across Kenvue’s diverse brand and product portfolio to guide our innovation teams for superior, sustainable packaging experiences that will delight consumers daily. This role will be crucial to capture market insights and transform them into human-centered innovations to win more consumers every day. This position plays a pivotal role in shaping the packaging experience strategy, driving front-end innovation, and ensuring our packaging solutions meet the needs of our consumers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Consumer Advocate: be the voice that will translate consumer benefit needs and multisensorial packaging experiences into technical attributes to deliver breakthrough innovations.
  • Solution Seeker: Lead research, development and facilitation of idea generation sessions for creating benefit-led packaging concepts.
  • Insights to Action: Analyse data and extract insights from a range of sources to help guide the development of superior propositions. Leverage agile methods such as qualitative and quantitative techniques, virtual tools and predictive modeling.
  • Concept Innovator: Explore emerging trends and technologies in packaging, identifying opportunities for benefit-led sustainable innovation.
  • Cross-functional Inclusivity: Work seamlessly within R&D, partnered with marketing and insights teams to conduct early stage testing of packaging prototypes that elevate value propositions.
  • Technical Leadership: Earn trust with science by providing evidence-based direction to business, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high-performing packaging.


What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Technical-based degree required, preferrably in science, design engineering, packaging or psychology ; focused on experience design, consumer research, analytics and insights.
  • 6+ years experience in Consumer Health Care company, knowledge in Self-Care, Beauty and/or Personal Care preferred, experience in project management is desirable
  • Experience of working in R&D product innovation, technical marketing, consumer insights, or consumer research. Knowledge of sensory science and data modeling a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to interpret data to pull out key insights, structuring complex data from multiple sources.


Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to translate technical content and concepts into compelling propositions for non-technical audiences.
  • Strong knowledge of packaging regulations and quality standards within the consumer packaged goods, cosmetics, or healthcare product industry
  • A strong presenter, communicator, and influencer, obsessed by consumers and brands, able to convince and deliver on strategic visions.
