Job Summary

We are looking for a Retail / CPG domain specific Sales Executive / Hunter to oversee the relationships of the company with its most important clients and drive new business acquisition by identifying and securing new logos in the Retail/CPG sector. You will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining long term key customers by understanding their requirements.

This role is responsible for acquiring new business acquisition, account mining and handling the client accounts in a company. Must build and maintain a strong relationship with the client. They will be the lead point of contact for all key client matters, anticipate the client’s needs, work within the company to ensure deadlines for the client are met, and help the client succeed. The account manager will also bring in new business from existing clients or contacts and will develop new relationships with potential clients.


Key Account Manager Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strong Retail and CPG domain experience is a must
  • Extensive work experience in sales, account management, or relevant experience in the Retail and CPG domain
  • Developing a solid and trusting relationship between major key clients and company
  • Developing a complete understanding of account needs
  • Account Mining and building new connects to gain more business
  • Strategic planning to improve client results
  • Negotiating contracts with the client and establishing a timeline of performance
  • Collaborating with VP / leaders of Business Development to maximize profit by up-selling or cross-selling
  • Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with Chief Business Officer – RCPG & Logistics.
  • Meeting all client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Goal-oriented, organized team player
  • In-depth understanding of company clients and their position in the industry
  • Eager to expand the company with new sales, clients, and territories
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person
