Email Developer

Our client, a marketing and advertising agency in LA, is looking for a Freelance HTML Email Developer. In this role, you will be a key player in creating high-impact digital marketing and CRM campaigns for a large telecom client. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will be responsible for coding custom email templates using HTML/CSS, ensuring high-quality and responsive email experiences. You must be able to show specific work samples of organized, high-quality HTML files for fully responsive and dynamic email templates.
Responsibilities:
- Create HTML/CSS email templates for promotional email campaigns
- Manipulate and edit existing HTML/CSS email templates and template modules
- QA emails across a variety of email clients and devices to ensure consistent appearance and functionality
- Ensure Figma designs are accurately replicated in code
- Utilize liquid logic to customize existing content blocks within email templates and create new content blocks to support a templatized, modular design system and corresponding code library
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in email development
- Experience optimizing email code across all devices and clients
- Experience working within an existing design system
- Experience coding complex email designs
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
