Summary


This position serves as an integral member of the inventory team to ensure records are accurate and discrepancies are accounted for within the department.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for weekly inventory counts of material groups, weekly scrap removal of all materials, and investigating discrepancies in inventory count.
  • Work with management to ensure that the BOMS in Traverse are current and accurate.
  • Assist with annual BOM review with management.
  • Work with management to develop fixes for inventory issues as needed.
  • Verify physical counts with the system counts and adjust accordingly.
  • Perform full physical inventory of all locations annually or as needed by management.
  • Perform physical inventory count at all remote sites as well as onsite on a quarterly basis.
  • Ensure proper bin location of materials in warehouse.
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications


Education and/or Experience


One year certificate from college or technical school with 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Language skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public group, and/or boards of directors.
  • Mathematical skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts.
  • Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of information.
  • Computer skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
