Responsibilities:

Data Reporting:

  • Create and maintain operational and analytical reports using existing and ad-hoc tools.
  • Develop data visualizations and dashboards to provide insights to stakeholders.

Data Analysis:

  • Conduct quality checks and completeness analysis on data outputs for scheduled reviews and ad-hoc requests.
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Catalog Management:

  • Process and verify metadata updates and correction requests from providers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely and appropriate responses to all catalog requests.
  • Maintain the accuracy and completeness of the product catalog.

Interdepartmental Content Liaison:

  • Coordinate product-related needs across internal and external teams.
  • Communicate key issues and troubleshoot conflicts proactively.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration on catalog-related priorities and initiatives.

Catalog Updates and Issue Management:

  • Validate and initiate product update requests from providers and customers.
  • Ensure timely and clear communication with stakeholders throughout the update process.


Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in editorial/publishing, preferably in a web-based environment.
  • Proven experience in CMS databases, content maintenance, data analysis, and reporting.
  • BA/BS or equivalent degree.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other Office software.
  • Familiarity with querying databases and assembling reports.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and process documentation.
  • Proficiency with systems such as JIRA, Airtable, CMS, Tableau.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience querying using SQL.
  • Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with impeccable organizational and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with audio and image formats and standards.
  • Demonstrated experience as a team lead or supervisor.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional experience in the Media Industry, particularly in supply chain or metadata management.
  • Avid consumer of online media, including books, blogs, podcasts, and other digital content.
  • Experience with Content Risk Management.
  • Familiarity with XML metadata exchange formats like ONIX or RSS.
