Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify potential customer opportunities across IT services in Manufacturing Industry among others
  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
  • Actively identify, prospect, and create opportunities within enterprise customers (typically IT org or CIO/CTO Office) for solution offerings in Manufacturing industry
  • Utilize market research, networking, and other outbound sales methodologies to generate leads.
  • Ability to lead conversations around industry challenges, emerging trends and specific customer challenges.
  • Work closely with Marketing team to recommend outbound campaigns, share trends/ upcoming requirements so appropriate sales content can be generated.
  • Manage the sales pipeline effectively, from lead generation to closure, ensuring a consistent and sustainable flow of sales opportunities.
  • Gain a deep understanding of our Tech Mahindra solutions to effectively present and demonstrate the value proposition to clients.
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales deals to meet revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless transition from sale to implementation.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.
  • Maintain relationship through the deal cycle and pass the qualified opportunities to account management & technology solutions teams to jointly build & pitch.


Role/Skills Requirements:

  • 8 to 10 years’ experience, with progressive increase in responsibilities in one of more of Business Development, and Direct Sales, including obtaining new Logos with a minimum of 5 years of hunting experience.
  • Recent and relevant selling experience working in a professional services organization focused on Manufacturing industry will be a Plus.
  • Serve as a strategic problem solver for the customers by conceptualizing innovative solutions and articulate long-term vision.
  • Develop relationships with key buyers and decision makers, CXOs and LOB heads at new prospect and grow the business.
  • Help Develop & lead Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies in partnership with leadership team & partners
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
