Logistics Specialist


NAG Marine is the trusted partner for shipboard automation products and services. A well-established small business that is big on capability and entrepreneurial spirit. We are looking to add a Logistics Specialist to our team. This position manages the shipping/receiving/and warehousing of inventory in accordance with company policies, government contracts, and government delivery schedules.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Handle shipping and receiving of all outbound/inbound material.
  • Pick parts and materials for outbound deliveries.
  • Process transactions in ERP according to standard procedures.
  • Create shipping documents using the preferred carriers’ software application.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Participate in the inventory count process in accordance with policy/procedure.
  • Facilitate internal delivery of parts and materials to meet engineering/service project needs.
  • Perform general housekeeping of the warehouse to maintain a safe and orderly working environment.
  • Ensure compliance to warehouse safety protocols and standard warehouse guidelines.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • (1) year inventory database experience.
  • (2) years Warehousing, storeroom, distribution, or inventory experience.
  • Material handling skills/experience – movement of parts, packages, and pallets using the appropriate handling equipment and safe practices.
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. MS Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Accomplish tasks consistently, accurately, and completely.
  • Physically able to safely lift a minimum of 35 lbs.

  • HAZMAT
