Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated HR Generalist to join the team at Parker Meggitt for a 6-month duration. This role is critical for managing employee relations, talent management, and leadership development within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.


Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations:

  • Act as the primary contact for employee relations matters.
  • Investigate and resolve complaints and conflicts, ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Promote a positive workplace through effective communication.

Talent Management:

  • Oversee recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding processes.
  • Implement strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Support employee performance evaluations and provide growth feedback.

Leadership Development:

  • Identify leadership development needs.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for employee management.
  • Facilitate leadership training sessions and workshops.

HR Administration:

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and oversee benefits administration.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma required (Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of HR experience, particularly in employee relations, talent management, and leadership development.
  • Technical Skills: Must have PeopleSoft experience (applications will be declined without this).
  • Other Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • HR certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP)
  • Manufacturing environment experience
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
