Reporting to the Director of Quality, the Quality Manager will monitor and advise on the performance of the quality management system, producing data, and reporting on performance, the Quality Manager will also coordinate the activities required to meet quality standards as well as train and assist internal stakeholders in audit procedures.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with plant staff to develop and implement improvement projects.
  • Support management review processes for the facility.
  • Maintain and update the Quality Management System (QMS) processes to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards, industry, customer and company requirements.
  • Set up and maintain controls for quality documents: policy, procedures, specifications, work instructions, record forms, etc.
  • Develop/maintain the quality portion of onboarding training for new employees.
  • Train and manage a team of QA engineers, coordinators and technicians.
  • Train and manage a team of internal QMS auditors.
  • Manage supplier performance tracking and follow-up.
  • Manage incoming quality inspection.
  • Manage quarantine and material review processes.



Minimum Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in quality or engineering, or a related field, with three (3) years’ experience in quality as an engineer, and two (2) years’ in a supervisory role or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience required.

  • Certification as a quality manager, quality engineer or lead auditor is considered an asset.
  • Must have a strong understanding of regulated quality systems and process controls.
  • Experience leading audits.
  • Experience or training in lean/Six Sigma or other improvement methods is an asset.
  • Ability to work in MS Office/Teams environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly, succinctly, and effectively with all departments, customers and suppliers.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance systems, standards, and practices.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team and to positively influence others.
  • Experience managing root cause corrective action activities.
  • Planning and Project Management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must have a valid passport and ability to travel internationally.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.



Salary Range: $80,000 to $105,000 Annually
