As we grow, we are looking for a skilled Director of Operations to optimize our production, supply chain, and operational processes, ensuring we deliver high-quality products efficiently and sustainably.

Position Overview:

The Director of Operations will oversee and manage all aspects of Tosi Snacks’ daily operations, including production, supply chain, inventory, logistics, and quality control. This role will work closely with the leadership team to scale our operations while maintaining excellence in product quality and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with experience in food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods (CPG) and proficiency in key operational tools and systems.

Key Responsibilities:Operations Management:
  • Oversee end-to-end production processes, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
  • Manage supply chain activities, including procurement, inventory management, and vendor relationships.
  • Work closely with co-packers and vendors to ensure production schedules are met, costs are controlled, and quality standards are upheld.
  • Optimize production schedules to meet demand forecasts while minimizing costs and waste.
Systems & Tools Management:
  • Utilize Google Drive for collaboration and document management.
  • Oversee operations using QuickBooks Online for financial reporting and DEAR/Cin7 systems for inventory and supply chain management.
  • Ensure team members are trained and proficient in the use of these tools to streamline operations.
  • Open to utilize more efficient programs based on your suggestions/experience
Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor the operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure staffing levels align with production needs and manage workforce planning and training initiatives.
Process Improvement:
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Leverage technology and automation where possible to streamline workflows.
Logistics & Distribution:
  • Oversee shipping and logistics to ensure timely delivery of products to customers and retail partners.
  • Collaborate with fulfillment partners to maintain excellent service levels and cost control.
Quality & Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, certifications, and industry standards (e.g., FDA, GMP).
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for production, quality assurance, and safety.
Strategic Planning:
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and execute operational strategies that align with company goals.
  • Provide input on budgeting and forecasting for operations-related expenses.
  • Offer experience in relevant industries to help us evolve our strategic planning and forecasting.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of operations management experience, preferably in food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods (CPG).
  • Proven experience working with and managing co-packers and vendors.
  • Proficiency in Google Drive, QuickBooks Online, and DEAR/Cin7 systems (or similar inventory and supply chain management tools).
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance (e.g., FDA, GMP, HACCP).
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
