Pride Health is hiring a Surgical Technologist to support our client’s medical facility in Glenwood Springs, CO. This is a 13-week opportunity with a possibility for an extension, a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization.


Job Description:

  • Assists with vaginal deliveries under the direction of a Registered Nurse and provider and within the scope of practice.
  • Functions as Scrub Tech for surgical procedures.
  • Maintains supplies and equipment on the unit.
  • Assists with maintenance of Point of Care Testing and High-Level Disinfection equipment.
  • Performs clerical and business support tasks as assigned.


Job Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program required
  • Certification in Surgical Technology from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Certification as a Tech in Surgery (CST) from the National Center for Competency
  • Testing (NCCT)preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Current registration with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) as a surgical technologist is required for associates working in Colorado.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • The traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from our facility to be considered for a travel assignment.

Shifts: 3 days x 12 hours

Pay Range: $1850 - $1950


*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
