Maintaining the restaurant's revenue, profitability and quality goals. Ensures efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.

Essential Functions:

- Manages activities of restaurant personnel (front and back house), to ensure prompt and courteous service to guests.

- Staff scheduling of both front of house and back of house staff.

- Overall responsibility for neatness and cleanliness of dining rooms, kitchen, tables, and serving stations.

- Requisitions table linens and other dining room supplies for tables and serving stations.

- Handles guest/staff concerns.

- Oversees menu planning.

- Responsible for overseeing daily/shift cashier checkout process.

- Oversees or performs food inventory ordering and monthly inventory process.

- Work with Operations Manager and other staff to handle hiring, progressive discipline, and terminations.

- Participate in annual performance reviews with staff.

- Exercises independent judgment and makes decisions with some existing guidelines.

- Train and mentor front and back house staff.


Qualifications Standards:

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred

- 5+ year experience in restaurant management

- Proficiency or trainable to proficient level in operating restaurant software system

- Excellent customer service skills

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to delegate


Physical Requirements:

- Standing for extended periods of time

- Able to stand, walk, kneel, stoop, climb ladders, use stairs, reach, pull and lift up to 25+ pounds with or without accommodation
