This is a hybrid position, so you will not have to go to the office every day


About the Role:

Private Equity/Venture Capital Fund Accounting Director - Fund Administrator


Great opportunity to join a successful Fund Administrator in a senior role within their Private Equity division. You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients, manage the team that services those clients, review the work of your fund accounting team producing client deliverables, add value to the firm, driving process improvement/efficiencies, mentoring and growing staff, and more. You will supervise/train/mentor your team of fund accountants including doing their performance reviews, maintaining/managing client relationships and growing their business.


Qualifications:

  • Must have 10+ years of experience in private equity and/or venture capital fund accounting or audit, client coverage and management experience.
  • Private Equity Fund of Funds, Venture Capital, Buyout, Secondaries, Real Estate and Private Credit experience will be considered as well, so long as there is a good amount of PE or VC fund accounting or audit experience.
  • Must have experience in Fund Administration or at public accounting firm, managing teams.
  • Must know and have experience with complicated waterfalls.
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Business, Economics or Finance ideally. CPA a plus but not required.


Location:

Position is hybrid in NY, NJ or MA.
