Cambridge, United States Kennedy Bond Full time

I am working with an exciting commercial-stage client who are looking for an MD to join their rapidly expanding team, to take on the role of Senior Medical Director, Global Safety Physician, and more specifically, product safety lead of clinical development programs. You will lead on assessment and interpretation of safety data and collaborate with cross functional teams to include clinical development, clinical operations and regulatory affairs. You will be a drug safety SME, working closely with external partners as needed, and being a champion for the overall PV team.

For background, the company works across the rare diseases and oncology space in a number of modalities. They have many commercialized products and are revenue generating. Due to program demands and expanding pipeline, the CMO is looking to hire 2x physicians to complement the existing drug safety team (current PV team is ~20x).

Culture fit is critical to my client. Current team members are experts in their field and high performing. Therefore, you should be a team player, who is adaptable, who can pivot on plan and remain flexible to the needs of the program you are working on. You should be able to think with first principles, with no task being too small, and excited about the journey you have the opportunity to be a part of.

To qualify for this position, you need the following:

  • MD from a recognized medical school
  • 6+ years' Industry experience
  • Global regulatory experience
  • A true product safety leader
  • Strong soft skills and communication skills, with the ability and confidence to influence various cross-functional stakeholders

This is an opportunity for you to be a part of a team that are making a groundbreaking impact. The next 18 months are pivotal, with a number of milestones on the horizon. You will be working with leaders within their respective spaces, and a team that are passionate about making a difference. For more information on this opportunity, please apply.
